Cancellation & Refund Policy -
1 Life Adventures

(Effective Date: 14/02/2025)


We understand that plans can change. Our Cancellation & Refund Policy ensures fairness while keeping our trips operational. Please read the terms carefully before booking.


1. Cancellation by 1  Life  Adventures


1 Life Adventures may cancel a trip due to unforeseen circumstances, including but not limited to:


  • Fewer than the required minimum number of participants.

  • Extreme weather conditions, government restrictions, or safety concerns.


In such cases, travelers will have two options:


✅ Full Refund – Receive a 100% refund of the amount paid.
✅ Trip Transfer – Move your booking to another trip on the same or a future weekend. Any price difference will be adjusted accordingly (either additional payment or a partial refund).


2. Cancellation by the Traveler


If you need to cancel your trip, the following refund policy applies:

  • 7+ Days Before Departure → Full refund minus a $50 processing fee.

  • 3-6 Days Before Departure → 50% refund of the total trip cost.

  • Less than 3 Days Before Departure or No-show → No refund.


⚠️ Important Notes:


  • Refunds will be processed using the original payment method and may take up to 14 business days.

  • No refunds are given for missed activities, meals, or services during the trip.

  • If a trip is canceled mid-way due to government restrictions or force majeure events, no refund will be provided.


3. Postponement & Replacements


Postponing Your Trip


  • You may postpone your trip once to a future date if requested at least 48 hours before departure.

  • Postponement requests within 48 hours of departure are not accepted.


Transferring Your Booking


  • If you can’t attend, you may transfer your spot to a friend, colleague, or another traveler.

  • This must be arranged by you and informed to us at least 24 hours before departure.


4. Refund Policy for Stripe Online Payments 


If you booked using  Stripe (credit/debit cards):


  • Refunds will follow the standard cancellation policy above.

  • Any refund for Stripe payments will be processed via the original payment method.


5. Refund Processing Time


  • Approved refunds will be processed within 14 business days.

  • Refunds will be issued through the original payment method.

  • We are not responsible for any third-party charges (e.g., Stripe fees, bank transaction fees).


6. Force Majeure & External Factors


1 Life Adventures is not responsible for cancellations due to external factors, including but not limited to:


  • Natural disasters, extreme weather conditions, government-imposed lockdowns, political unrest, or road closures.

  • In such cases, no cash refund will be issued, but you will receive 100% credit toward a future trip.
